Gossip Girl! El mejor libro del mundo!

In English class the teacher put us to do a summary about the book that we were reading and I chose Gossip Girl. I chose Gossip girl because some people recomend it to me and because I knew that there was a series and they were very interesting. It´s my independent reading book for December and I started reading it in December 1.

There is a fortunate group of kids that live in the Upper East Side of New York. They study in single-sex private schools. The girls go to Constance Billard School and boys go to St. Jude’s School. These people live in gigantic apartments next to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Fifth Avenue. They wear fantastic clothes of course made by very recognized fashion designers. They have unlimited access to money and can play and sleep when they want. It’s a luxury life but somebody has got to live it. And there’s a webpage that is full of gossip from these people and everybody loads information about them.

Blair is one of those girls which her mother is a very well recognized fashion designer and she has been the queen since Serena went out to Boarding School without telling Blair. Serena and Blair were best friends. Blair has a boyfriend, Nate. Nate and Serena had some issues and she didn’t want Blair to know about their affair because she would kill her and their friendship. So Serena leaves to Boarding School without telling anyone, regretting what she had done. But there’s a problem Chuck Bass knows about it, that’s dangerous. Some people saw her getting off the train at the Grand Central Station. Serena is back after being a year at Boarding School. These news were posted in the gossip website and everybody talked about them, people was surprised and specially boys were happy but girls were annoyed about such beauty and popularity. Blair was jealous because Nate liked her much more then he loved Blair and now her throne was about to be taken away. She had been mad at Serena because she didn’t write letters to her saying how was she or anything like that. She left Blair alone in the worst moment; her parents divorced and her father went to live in France with some other guy. Nate likes Serena more than Blair and Blair is really worried about it. Blair isn’t the friend Serena remembered, now she’s a little bit cold and doesn’t pay that much attention when Serena is talking. There are lots of bad rumors about Serena in the both schools about what she had done in Boarding School. Dan likes Serena so much he wants to go to the parties she goes but he’s different to everyone in these schools, he’s poor and lives in Brooklyn. He has a sister, Jenny, which also is a fan of Serena, she wants to be just like her but that’s impossible. But now Serena is noticing that everything is weird around lately. Will Blair find out about Nate’s adventure with Serena?
